Cubs outfielder Nate Schierholtz hit his first home run of September in his team's 5-1 win over the Brewers Thursday. It was his only hit in five at-bats after entering the game just 7 for 48 in September.

Schierholtz managed six home runs in August, his highest monthly total of the season, before this month's power drought. He has hit .252/.305/.479 with 21 home runs, 67 RBI and six stolen bases in 436 at-bats.
