The best and worst MLB Opening Day ticket prices
The Royals are ahead of the pack by another measure.
With Opening Day now less than two weeks away, this is as good of a time as any to secure tickets -- or at least to compare prices of available tickets across the league. Fortunately, TicketCity has provided the necessary data to see just which teams are the best value:

Unsurprisingly, the world champion Royals are the hottest ticket. They’ll open the season on Sunday Night Baseball in a World Series rematch with the Mets. No intrigue there or anything.
On the flip side, it seems nobody wants to watch the Rockies take on the Padres. Somehow, the Rockies’ available tickets cost less than half as much as the next-lowest team. Nolan Arenado is worth the price of admission, folks.
As for the biggest shocker, that would be the Rockies’ Opening Day host: the Diamondbacks. If this graphic is any indication, Zack Greinke's home debut isn’t being treated as a franchise-altering event. Not yet, anyway.
