Athletics center fielder Coco Crisp underwent X-rays on his ribs that came back negative, Comcast SportsNet California reports.
Crisp is penciled into the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers, but manager Bob Melvin will monitor him in batting practice and determine if a change is necessary. Crisp has hit .324/.469/.541 with two home runs, six RBI and six stolen bases in 37 at-bats.
