Yankees closer Andrew Miller had a busy Wednesday. He was activated from the 15-day disabled list and later went on to record his 18th save of the season.
The outing was spotless, he did allow a two-run home run that almost squandered a lead his team built, but he was able to close out the ninth inning in a 5-4 win over the Athletics.
Miller pitched in his first game since June 9. He was on the DL because of a forearm injury.
