Jermaine Curtis: Let go Wednesday
Curtis was released by the Twins on Wednesday, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.
Curtis will look to latch on elsewhere after slashing .200/.352/.254 with one homer and 10 RBI through 42 games at Triple-A Rochester. His last big-league appearance came way back in 2013, and he's yet to collect his first major-league hit.

Twins' Jermaine Curtis: Signs with Twins
Curtis agreed to a minor-league contract with Minnesota on Friday, Brandon Warne of The Athletic reports.
Curtis spent the 2017 season split between the Double- and Triple-A affiliates in Oakland's system, finishing off the campaign with Double-A Midland where he slashed .310/.428/.404 in 56 games. The 30-year-old has only appeared in five big-league contests, all coming with St. Louis in 2013. He will serve as organizational depth for the Twins moving forward.

Athletics' Jermaine Curtis: Heads back to minor league camp
Curtis was reassigned to minor league camp Sunday.
The journeyman hadn't appeared in a single Cactus League game as of Sunday, so between that and his inability to progress beyond Triple-A the past three seasons, this move comes as no surprise. Curtis likely will serve as an organizational depth piece this season once again.

Athletics' Jermaine Curtis: Joins A's on NRI deal
Curtis has signed a minor league contract with the A's that includes an invite to spring training, CSN Bay Area reports.
A fifth-round pick in 2008, he broke through to the majors briefly with the Cardinals in 2013 but has been stuck down at Triple-A ever since. Curtis has routinely posted high on-base percentages, upping his mark to .404 with the Reds' Louisville affiliate in 2016. However, he does not have the other tools necessary to really capitalize on the strong approach.

Reds' Jermaine Curtis: Collects double, walk, and two RBI
Curtis collected a double, a walk, and two RBI in Triple-A Louisville's 6-1 win over Columbus on Wednesday. He's now batting .286 over seven at-bats on the young season.
Curtis only had six at-bats in spring training this year but he managed to produce two hits and a RBI. The 28-year-old has spent the last four seasons at the Triple-A level with one brief appearance in the majors in 2013. His ability to play both infield and outfield as well as his career .377 OBP in the minors are both factors that boost Curtis' chances of reaching the majors in 2016.
