Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo1H agoThe Mets' four longest tenured players -- Brandon Nimmo, Jeff McNeil, Pete Alonso and Edwin Díaz -- have all departed in a single offseason. The new longest tenured player is David Peterson (2020), followed by Francisco Lindor (2021). -
Michael Baron@michaelgbaron1H agoJeff McNeil was a two-time All-Star with the #Mets. He hit .284/.351/.428 and hit over .300 three times, not including his debut season in 2018 when he hit .329 over that season’s final 63 games. He was an excellent Met. But, it was time.
