Athletics' Jared Dickey: Shipped to Oakland
The Royals traded Dickey, Mason Barnett and Will Klein to the Athletics on Tuesday in exchange for Lucas Erceg, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
Dickey has been excellent for the Royals' High-A affiliate this season, slashing .269/.360/.424 with nine homers, 40 RBI and 39 runs scored in 290 plate appearances. The 22-year-old won't figure into the Athletics' immediate plans.
