Royals' Connor Kaiser: Lands with Royals
Kaiser signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Saturday.
Kaiser entered free agency after being outrighted by the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, and it didn't take long for him to land elsewhere. The 28-year-old finished the Triple-A season with a .236/.345/.406 slash line over 273 plate appearances, and he'll most likely report to Triple-A Omaha to begin the 2026 campaign.

Diamondbacks' Connor Kaiser: Loses 40-man spot
Kaiser cleared waivers Wednesday and was sent outright to Triple-A Reno, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Kaiser spent most of the season at Triple-A, where he slashed .236/.345/.406 with six homers, 31 RBI and 32 runs scored across 273 plate appearances. It's unknown whether the 28-year-old will elect to test the free-agent market, though he would be unlikely to attract more than a minor-league deal if he were to do so.

Diamondbacks' Connor Kaiser: Back in big leagues
The Diamondbacks recalled Kaiser from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old spent the past couple weeks with Reno but will join the Diamondbacks on Tuesday as Lourdes Gurriel (knee) lands on the injured list. Kaiser is likely to operate as a utility infielder while up in the majors.

Diamondbacks' Connor Kaiser: Sent down to Triple-A
The Diamondbacks optioned Kaiser to Triple-A Reno following Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Kaiser was called up by the Diamondbacks on Aug. 1 and saw his first major-league action since 2023, when he was a member of the Rockies. He appeared in five games (four starts) and went 2-for-14 (.143 average) with two RBI over that span. Kaiser will give up his spot on the 26-man active roster to infielder Ildemaro Vargas (foot), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list.

Diamondbacks' Connor Kaiser: Starts at 2B
Kaiser started at second base and went 0-for-3 in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Rockies.
Kaiser, who gave Ketel Marte a day off at second base, played in the majors for the first time since 2023. With Blaze Alexander serving as the primary third baseman following Arizona's trade of Eugenio Suarez, Kaiser can fill the utility infielder role that once belonged to Alexander.

Rockies' Connor Kaiser: Moves to MiLB camp
The Rockies reassigned Kaiser to minor-league camp Sunday.
Kaiser reached the big leagues for the first time in 2023, logging four plate appearances over three games with Colorado. The 27-year-old infielder was moved off the Rockies' 40-man roster last July and was attending camp as a non-roster invitee, but he wasn't a serious candidate to be included on Colorado's Opening Day roster. He'll likely begin the 2024 campaign at Triple-A Albuquerque.

Rockies' Connor Kaiser: Gets first MLB call-up
The Rockies selected Kaiser's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday. He'll start at shortstop and bat ninth in the Rockies' series opener in Cincinnati.
The 26-year-old will reach the big leagues for the first time in his career, joining the Rockies' 26-man active roster to provide added depth in the infield while shortstop Ezequiel Tovar (personal) is on the paternity list. Colorado will most likely send Kaiser back to Triple-A on Friday, when Tovar presumably rejoins the team for the start of a homestand.
