Stephen Curry set an NBA record for made pointers in a single season on Thursday night, hitting his 273rd of the season. He surpassed the record of 272 made 3's last season by... Stephen Curry. Seconds later, Curry's record was broken as a new record of 274 was established by... Stephen Curry.
You get the idea.
Here's Curry breaking the record.
To put this in perspective, Ray Allen is the all-time leader in made 3's. He hit over 250 3-pointers once in his career. Curry's done it three times already. He's on pace to shatter every conceivable NBA 3-point record if he stays healthy. An absolutely unbelievable season, an unbelievable record, for an unbelievable player.
