Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Sets tone in first quarter
Brunson posted 27 points (11-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and three assists over 31 minutes during the Knicks' 127-98 win over the Bucks on Friday.
Brunson got off to a sizzling start with 22 points in the first quarter, and while he was limited to just five points over the next two quarters, he sat for the entire final frame with the Knicks holding onto a commanding lead. His first-quarter outburst was the second-most points scored in the first frame by a Knicks player in franchise history, falling one point shy from his own mark that he set Jan. 12, 2025 against Milwaukee. Brunson will wrap up the month of February having averaged 23.8 points, 6.7 assists, 4.5 rebounds, 2.4 threes and 0.8 steals over 35.6 minutes per game.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Hits for 19 in Sunday's win
Brunson ended Sunday's 105-99 victory over the Bulls with 19 points (7-19 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, nine assists and one block in 36 minutes.
The All-Star guard is still looking for his rhythm from downtown coming out of the break, going 4-for-14 (28.6 percent) in the past three games from three-point range, but otherwise, Brunson's been his usual productive self. Through 10 contests in February, he's averaging 23.8 points, 7.3 assists, 4.6 boards, 2.2 threes and 1.0 steals.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Clutch effort in comeback win
Brunson had 20 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three rebounds and six assists in 36 minutes during Saturday's 108-106 victory over Houston.
Brunson struggled to get things going for much of the game, but he stepped up his game right when the Knicks needed him the most. New York delivered its biggest comeback of the season in this win, and even though the final stat line was far from being Brunson's best, it strengthened his position as the team's go-to weapon on offense. He'll aim to deliver a better stat line Sunday on the second leg of a back-to-back set against the Bulls.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Drops 33 points vs. Detroit
Brunson recorded 33 points (12-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and two steals over 38 minutes during the Knicks' 126-111 loss to the Pistons on Thursday.
Brunson scored 20 of his team-high 33 points in the second half as he attempted to lead the Knicks' comeback efforts. He was the only New York player to have some success from beyond the arc, with the rest of the Knicks going 5-for-28 (17.9 percent) from three-point range. Brunson has scored at least 30 points in four of his last six outings and will continue to lead the Knicks' offense while Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby and others provide support.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Victorious at Shooting Stars
Brunson and Team Knicks defeated Team Cameron in the final round of the 2026 NBA All-Star Shooting Stars event Saturday.
Joined by Karl-Anthony Towns and Allan Houston, Brunson and Team Knicks opened the contest with 31 points in the first round to advance to the final against Kon Knueppel, Jalen Johnson and Corey Maggette of Team Cameron. Team Cameron posted 38 points in the final round, though Team Knicks erupted for 47 to win the first Shooting Stars event since 2015. Brunson and Towns will now prepare to face off against one another in Sunday's Team World versus Team USA Stripes NBA All-Star Game.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Erupts for 40 points in loss
Brunson contributed 40 points (15-31 FG, 4-14 3Pt, 6-8 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and one steal across 42 minutes in Tuesday's 137-134 overtime loss to the Pacers.
Brunson put up a season-high 31 field-goal attempts en route to his fourth 40-plus-point performance on the campaign. The star guard led all players in scoring and finished second on the Knicks in assists behind Josh Hart (11). Brunson has reached the 30-point threshold in back-to-back games following a lackluster 12-point outing during Friday's blowout loss to Detroit, and he has recorded at least 30 points and eight assists in three of his last four games. During that stretch, he has averaged 31.3 points, 7.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 38.3 minutes per contest.

Brunson enjoyed a scoring resurgence Sunday, leading all players with an efficient 31 points after managing just 12 points (4-20 FG, 0-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT) in Friday's loss to the Pistons. Prolific scoring has been a constant for the 29-year-old, as he's reached the 30-point mark 20 times this season. The star guard also led the game in assists, marking the 15th time this campaign he's dished out eight-plus dimes.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Drops 42 points in double-OT win
Brunson finished Wednesday's 134-127 double-overtime win over the Nuggets with 42 points (14-27 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 9-11 FT), nine assists, eight rebounds and two steals over 47 minutes.
It was a vintage performance out of Brunson on Wednesday, with the All-Star guard coming alive with 15 third-quarter points before scoring 10 points in the second OT frame to propel the Knicks to a tough victory. It was his third game of 40-plus points this season and the first time he scored at least 30 points since Jan. 24 against the 76ers. Things won't get easier for Brunson and the Knicks as they hit the road to face the East-leading Pistons on Friday.
