Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Leads Knicks in Game 1
Brunson logged 28 points (9-22 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and one steal in 36 minutes of Saturday's 113-102 Game 1 win over the Hawks.
Brunson was back in his usual role after missing the regular season finale with an ankle issue, though it's likely his absence was precautionary. Brunson averaged 26.0 points, 6.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 threes and 0.8 steals during the regular season and carried that momentum over into the playoffs.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Not playing Sunday
Brunson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Hornets.
The Knicks are locked in as the No. 3 seed in the East, so Brunson and the rest of New York's starters will be sidelined for Sunday's regular-season finale. Brunson will end the regular season averaging 26.0 points, 6.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 threes and 0.8 steals over 35.0 minutes per game. Miles McBride, Jose Alvarado and Jordan Clarkson should all see extended run time against Charlotte.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Efficient in Friday's win
Brunson amassed 29 points (12-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Friday's 112-95 victory over Toronto.
Brunson helped the Knicks maintain their double-digit halftime lead with 14 points in the third quarter and finished as the game's leading scorer, though he saw his double-double streak end at three games. The Knicks are locked in as the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference due to the Celtics' 144-118 win over the Pelicans on Friday , so Brunson and the rest of New York's starters could be rested for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Hornets.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Secures double-double in win
Brunson supplied 25 points (10-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 assists and one rebound in 37 minutes during Thursday's 112-106 win over the Celtics.
The star point guard turned in an efficient performance from the field and finished as New York's second-leading scorer behind Josh Hart (26). Brunson dished out a game-high 10 assists as well, recording his third consecutive double-double and 12th on the season. Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Double-doubles in victory
Brunson recorded 30 points (11-26 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 13 assists, three rebounds and two steals across 39 minutes in Monday's 108-105 win over Atlanta.
Brunson didn't turn in his most efficient performance but still finished as New York's leading scorer, reaching the 30-point threshold for the third time over his last six appearances. The star point guard also dished out a game-high 13 assists en route to his second straight double-double and 11th on the campaign. Additionally, he chipped in multiple steals for the first time since March 20, matching the game high with two swipes.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Posts double-double
Brunson notched 17 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound and 10 assists over 30 minutes during Friday's 136-96 victory over the Bulls.
Brunson, who was making his return from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury, didn't have his best performance in what was a favorable matchup on paper. However, the Knicks didn't need him to take over offensively in what turned out to be a 40-point win. Still, Brunson posted his first double-double since the loss to the Hornets on March 26, but he's failed to reach the 20-point plateau in back-to-back games, something that hadn't happened since a two-game stretch between March 4 and March 6. One bad game won't define Brunson's impressive season, but his workload and playing time are two things worth monitoring closely with the regular season coming to an end Sunday, April 12.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Ruled out Wednesday
Brunson (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, per Stefan Bondy of The New York Post.
The Knicks are opting to give their star point guard a maintenance day on the second leg of a back-to-back set against a weak Memphis team while he manages right ankle soreness. With Miles McBride (pelvis) also sidelined Wednesday, New York's backcourt rotation will be extremely shorthanded. Look for Jose Alvarado, Jordan Clarkson and Landry Shamet to absorb the bulk of the available minutes against Memphis.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: May not play Wednesday
Brunson is questionable for Wednesday's game against Memphis due to right ankle soreness.
Wednesday marks the second leg of a back-to-back set for the Knicks, who are contemplating a maintenance day for Brunson while he manages a minor ankle issue. The Knicks have already ruled out Miles McBride (pelvis) for Wednesday, so if Brunson joins him on the sideline, more minutes would be available for the likes of Jose Alvarado, Jordan Clarkson and Landry Shamet.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Game-high 32 points Tuesday
Brunson tallied 32 points (11-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), seven assists and one rebound over 39 minutes during the Knicks' 121-116 win over the Pelicans on Tuesday.
As he's done over the past few seasons, Brunson put the Knicks on his back in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 of his game-high 32 points in the final frame to propel New York to its seventh consecutive win. It was the 24th game of 30-plus points this season for Brunson, but only his third in 17 outings since the All-Star break, though he's averaging almost two dimes more compared to before the mid-February break. The Knicks will embark on a four-game road trip Thursday in Charlotte as they look to surpass the Celtics for the second seed in the Eastern Conference standings.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Scores 23 in blowout win Sunday
Brunson produced 23 points (9-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Sunday's 145-113 victory over the Wizards.
Brunson could've ended with a better stat line had he logged more minutes, but there was no need to play him down the stretch as the Knicks were cruising to an easy win. The star floor general has failed to reach the 25-point game in back-to-back contests, something that hadn't happened since a three-game stretch between March 4 and March 8. Still, he's averaging 23.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game this month, so his role as the Knicks' go-to scoring and playmaking option isn't under any threat, although there will be times in which he'll cede the No. 1 role to Karl-Anthony Towns, like in this win.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Rough shooting performance
Brunson ended with 17 points (7-19 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 41 minutes during Friday's 93-92 win over Brooklyn.
Brunson, who was returning to the lineup after sitting out Tuesday's game against the Pacers due to right ankle injury management and a cervical strain, had a woeful shooting performance and certainly took a step back compared to his previous games, perhaps showing that he's still not 100 percent healthy. Brunson was coming off five straight games with at least 24 points and seven assists before missing Tuesday's outing, and while he ended with close to a double-double Friday, his shooting woes were hard to ignore as he needed 19 shots to score 17 points. Brunson will aim to bounce back when the Knicks take on the Wizards on Sunday.
