  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Limited output off bench

Post provided three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt) and three rebounds across 10 minutes during Wednesday's 121-110 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Warriors coach Steve Kerr rolled with smaller lineups for the most part Wednesday, as Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kevon Looney combined to play 13 minutes. Upgraded from a two-way contract back in February of 2025, Post emerged as a reliable rotation player down the stretch. He made 42 regular-season appearances, posting averages of 8.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.7 three-pointers while hitting 40.8 percent from beyond the arc. It seems likely that the Warriors will pick up their team option for 2025-26.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Coming off bench in Game 3

Post is not in the Warriors' starting lineup for Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Timberwolves on Saturday, Danny Emerman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Post was inserted into the Warriors' starting lineup for Game 2, but he played just three minutes without posting any counting stats. He'll shift to the bench for Game 3 while Trayce Jackson-Davis moves into Golden State's starting five. Post has played six minutes or less in each of his last three games after averaging 19.3 minutes per game over the first six games of the postseason against the Rockets.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Hardly plays despite starting

Post closed Thursday's 117-93 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals with no counting stats in three minutes. With Stephen Curry (hamstring) out, it initially appeared as though Post would be a part of a much bigger lineup for Golden State. However, the rookie big man only logged three minutes of action, allowing for Trayce Jackson-Davis to play 19 minutes. Even with Curry set to miss a few more games, it's unlikely Post will be a significant factor in the Warriors' rotation.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Starting in Game 2

Post is in the starting lineup for Thursday's Game 2 against the Timberwolves, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. The Warriors will elect to roll with a larger starting five in the absence of Stephen Curry (hamstring), moving Draymond Green to power forward and Jimmy Butler to small forward. Post will presumably be much more involved Thursday after a quiet performance in Game 1, when he logged one rebound in six minutes of action.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Scores 13 off bench

Post recorded 13 points (4-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes during Monday's 109-106 win over the Rockets in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Post moved back to the second unit due to Jimmy Butler returning to action, but the former made the most of his minutes. Look for him to be the first big man off the bench moving forward, with coach Steve Kerr clearly putting a lot of trust in him.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Back to bench

Post will come off the bench for Monday's Game 4 against the Rockets, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports. Post didn't provide much offensively in an opportunity to start during Saturday's Game 3, finishing with two points on 1-for-7 from the field in 27 minutes. Jimmy Butler will return to the starting lineup after missing time with a pelvic contusion, nudging Post back to a bench role.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Grabs 12 boards in Game 3

Post totaled two points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), 12 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 27 minutes during Saturday's 104-93 win over the Rockets in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. With Jimmy Butler (pelvis) sidelined and Moses Moody moving to the bench, Post and Jonathan Kuminga were inserted into Golden State's staring lineup for Game 3. Post didn't make much of an impact as a shooter, but he did manage to grab a game-high 12 boards (nine defensive). The rookie second-round pick could stay in the Warriors' starting five if Butler is unable to play in Game 4 on Monday.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Upgraded to available

Post (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. The Warriors will be close to full strength Friday with Post available, and the rookie should see decent minutes even if he comes off the bench. The former Boston College standout has averaged 8.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and a combined 1.2 steals-plus-blocks per game in 23 contests since the All-Star break.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Won't suit up Tuesday

Post (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Suns, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. The rookie big man was a late addition to the injury report and won't suit up due to an illness. His next chance to play will come Wednesday against San Antonio. Kevon Looney will likely receive an uptick in playing time behind Draymond Green due to Post being sidelined.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Late addition to report Tuesday

Post (illness) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Suns. Post was a very late addition to the injury report, which bodes poorly for his status ahead of Tuesday's tipoff at 10:00 p.m. ET. If the rookie big man is ruled out against Phoenix, Kevon Looney will likely receive a bump in minutes behind Draymond Green.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Returning to bench

Post isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Heat, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Gary Payton will replace Post in the starting five against Miami. Post has averaged 8.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 17.5 minutes across his previous 10 appearances coming off the bench.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Starting vs. Atlanta

Post is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Hawks. The Warriors are tweaking their lineup due to the absence of Stephen Curry (pelvis), and this means Post will start at center, with Draymond Green slotting at power forward while Brandin Podziemski will operate as the de-facto point guard. Post is averaging 9.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks per game across 11 contests in March (six starts).

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Strong showing off bench Thursday

Post ended with 18 points (6-10 FG, 6-9 3Pt), two rebounds, one block and one steal in 22 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 117-114 win over the Raptors. The rookie center delivered his best scoring effort in March as he shifted back to the second unit once again. Post has been dealing with an ankle issue that limited him to eight minutes against the Nuggets on Monday, but he looked fully healthy Thursday as he set a new career high in made three-pointers. Stephen Curry (pelvis) left the win over Toronto early, and if misses additional time, Post could be the player who shifts back into the starting five.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Available and starting

Post (ankle) has been cleared to play and is starting Monday's game against the Nuggets, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Post was considered questionable for Monday's clash due to a right ankle issue, but he's been given the green light and will return to the starting lineup after being deployed off the bench Saturday against the Knicks. He's averaging 9.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.3 blocks in his last three games as a starter.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Coming off bench vs. NYK

Post is not in the Warriors' starting lineup against the Knicks on Saturday, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports. Post has started in the Warriors' last three games, but he'll cede his spot to Gui Santos for Saturday's contest. Post has averaged 8.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.3 blocks over 20.6 minutes per game since the beginning of March.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Starting Saturday vs. Detroit

Post is in the Warriors' starting lineup against the Pistons on Saturday, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Post will make his ninth start of the season Saturday as he'll work alongside Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green in the frontcourt. Post has averaged 8.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 17.6 minutes per game as a starter.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Sets season-high two swats

Post racked up 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 21 minutes during Thursday's 121-119 victory over the Nets. Post delivered a productive performance in his third consecutive contest coming off the bench, scoring in double digits for the ninth time across 25 regular-season appearances. The big man was also efficient from beyond the arc, sinking multiple triples for the 13th time on the season. Additionally, Post registered two blocks in the win, marking a new season high. The 24-year-old center has provided a spark in the rotation since late January, and in eight outings (one start) since the All-Star break, he has averaged 10.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks across 19.0 minutes per contest.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Moves into starting lineup

Post will start Saturday's game against the 76ers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. With Jimmy Butler (back) sidelined, the Warriors will go big by starting Post at center and moving Draymond Green to power forward. As a starter this season (seven games), Post has averaged 7.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 16.4 minutes per game.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Starts in second half Thursday

Post registered 18 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 24 minutes during Thursday's 121-115 win over the Magic. Stephen Curry's 56-point outburst will get most of the attention from Thursday's game, but Post played a large part in the Warriors' 17-point comeback. Post entered the starting lineup for the second half and finished as the Warriors' second-leading scorer while registering a game-high plus-22 point differential. The rookie second-round pick has established a consistent role for himself in the Warriors' rotation, and he could carve himself out an even bigger role over the final weeks of the regular season.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Riding with starters Wednesday

Post is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports. Although Daniel Gafford (knee) won't play Wednesday, the Warriors have decided to roll with a traditional center in their starting lineup. Post will make his seventh start of the season, with the rookie big man averaging 8.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 three-pointers in 17.3 minutes as a member of Golden State's first unit.
