Winston played one minute of action during Monday's blowout win over Indiana.

The rookie hasn't been a factor yet throughout his first season in the league, as Winston has totaled just two points over the Wizards' past six games. Winston's best game so far this season came against the Spurs on Jan. 24 when he posted a career-best eight points and added four rebounds.

Winston recorded three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and two steals during Tuesday's loss to Charlotte.

Winston has scored exactly three points in three of his past five appearances, all of which came via the three-pointer. The former Michigan State standout has totaled 22 points across 11 appearances with the Wizards so far this year.

Winston logged 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-8 3Pt), seven assists, six rebounds and one steal over 33 minutes in Tuesday's 121-91 loss to Santa Cruz.

Winston has scored in double figures in five of the last six contests, and he led the BayHawks in assists during Tuesday's defeat. He's now averaging 12.8 points, 5.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds over 29.9 minutes per game this season.

Winston totaled 18 points (6-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals over 34 minutes in Tuesday's 106-103 win over the Mad Ants.

Winston has continued to serve in a starting capacity for the BayHawks, and he was productive once again during Tuesday's win. He's now averaging 13.2 points, 5.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds over 29.6 minutes per game this season.

Winston recorded 10 points (2-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four assists, two steals and one rebound over 32 minutes in Thursday's 94-90 win over Lakeland.

Winston has remained in the starting five for each of the past three games, and he overcame an inefficient performance from the floor Thursday to score in double figures during the narrow victory over Lakeland. The former Michigan State standout appears to have secured a spot in the starting rotation in the G League and is averaging 13.0 points and 4.7 assists over 28.8 minutes per game this season.

Winston posted 16 points (4-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 27 minutes in Monday's 114-104 win over the Long Island Nets.

Winston came off the bench in each of the first three games of the 2020-21 G League season, but he was still quite effective for the BayHawks. He joined the starting lineup Monday and remained productive during the win over Long Island. He nearly led the team in scoring and generated modest results in several categories. While it's not yet clear whether his starting role will continue, Winston has been a key contributor early in the G League campaign.

Winston had 10 points (4-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), seven assists and two rebounds over 32 minutes in Friday's 38-126 win over Raptors 905.

Winston has joined the BayHawks to begin the 2020-21 G League season, and he played a significant role off the bench Friday. He led the team in assists while scoring in double figures and should see more playing time in the Orlando bubble than he did with the parent club.

Winston (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Sunday's 149-146 win over the Nets.

After averaging 8.6 minutes per game while appearing in each of the Wizards' previous five contests, Winston was unsurprisingly bumped from head coach Scott Brooks' rotation Sunday with Ish Smith (COVID-19 health and safety protocol) cleared to return to action. Look for the Wizards to assign the 22-year-old to the G League's Capital City Go-Go in the near future in order for him to pick up extended playing time in a competitive environment.

Winston will begin the season in the G League.

Winston signed a two-way contract with Washington last month and will subsequently open the 2020-21 campaign with the Wizards' G League team, the Capital City Go-Go. The rookie will have a tough time battling for minutes with the Wizards this season, as he currently sits behind Russell Westbrook, Raul Neto and Ish Smith on the team's depth chart.
