Chargers running back Branden Oliver has some sleeper appeal this season depending on how San Diego fills out the backfield with Ryan Mathews now gone as a free agent to Philadelphia. Oliver could be the starter of a committee that features Danny Woodhead and Donald Brown. Oliver, per coach Mike McCoy, has the best chance to be the power back of the group, and in three games with at least 15 carries in 2014, he had either 75 total yards or a touchdown. You shouldn't plan on Oliver as a starting option in the majority of leagues, but he could be a nice reserve with a late-round pick. If he does get the majority of carries and the chance to work at the goal line this season then he could end up with decent production -- and good value based on his draft position.
