  • Bronson Kaufusi: Signs with Packers' practice squad

Green Bay signed Kaufusi to the practice squad Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Kaufusi established himself as a favorite of quarterback Aaron Rodgers this preseason, so it's no surprise to see him get a chance to continue his development via the practice squad. Since joining the NFL as a third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2016, Kaufusi has only appeared in nine career contests.

  • Packers' Bronson Kaufusi: Lands future pact

Kaufusi signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers on Friday. A 2016 third-round pick, Kaufusi lost his rookie season to a broken ankle, and he's played in only nine NFL games over the past four years. The Packers have depth at tight end in their system, so Kaufusi will have a tough time securing a roster spot in 2021.

  • Jets' Bronson Kaufusi: Shifts to tight end

Coach Adam Gase said Kaufusi has moved to tight end, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports. Gase also said that the former defensive lineman could contribute on both sides of the ball, in which case he would provide the Jets with rare versatility. Kaufusi logged 3.5 tackles and a half-sack in three appearances last season.

Kaufusi spent four days on the active roster in October, and has otherwise been on the Jets' practice squad. The 27-year-old provides some depth on the defensive line, and takes the roster spot of Darron Lee following his four-game suspension.

  • Bronson Kaufusi: Waived by Jets

Kaufusi was waived by the Jets on Friday. Kaufusi was promoted to the active roster earlier in the week, but New York has ultimately opted to beef up its linebacker depth ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Raiders instead. Assuming he clears waivers, the defensive end will likely revert back to the Jets' practice squad.

  • Ravens' Bronson Kaufusi: Set to miss rookie campaign

Kaufusi (ankle) was placed on the Ravens' injured reserve list on Tuesday, The Baltimore Sun reports.
