Jets' Julian Howsare: Signs with Jets
Howsare signed a future/reserve contract with the Jets on Wednesday, Randy Lange of the team's official site reports.
Howsare spent the past two offseasons with the Jets but has failed to make the 53-man roster each time. He spent 12 weeks on the Jets' practice squad this year and will look to solidify himself as the team's fullback after playing linebacker in college.

Julian Howsare: Cut by Jets
Howsare was cut by the Jets on Thursday, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.
The Jets opted to part ways with Howsare after realizing there was no team need for a fullback. Chan Gailey's offense runs much more fluidly without one. Howsare could find a new home at some point this season, but it doesn't seem like the Jets are interested in bringing him back assuming he clears waivers.
