Packers' Kristian Welch: Deemed DNP in walkthrough Tuesday
Rotowire
Welch (ankle) was listed as a non-participant in Tuesday's practice walkthrough, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Welch hurt his ankle in the second quarter of Saturday's loss to the Bears and was unable to return. It's unclear how severe the injury is, but his designation of DNP to begin Week 17 prep isn't a good sign for his chance of suiting up Saturday against Baltimore. Welch has logged just one defensive snap over eight games this season, so if he can't suit up versus the Ravens, his absence would mostly be felt on special teams.

Packers' Kristian Welch: Questionable to return with ankle
Rotowire
Welch (ankle) is questionable to return to Saturday night's game against the Bears.
Welch exited the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury, and it is unclear if he will be able to return. The weakside linebacker is primarily a special teamer, and if he is unable to return, Ty'Ron Hopper will likely see an increased amount of special-teams snaps.

Ravens' Kristian Welch: Re-signs with Baltimore
Rotowire
The Ravens re-signed Welch on Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Welch was originally an unrestricted free agent and despite not receiving a tender from Baltimore, the 24-year-old will still return to the team for next season. The 2020 undrafted free agent appeared in all 17 games last season logging three tackles (three solo) while playing almost exclusively on special teams. Welch should be expected to have a similar role next season as he'll look to once again add value as a special teamer.
