Weatherford (undisclosed) had a tryout with the Cardinals on Tuesday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
Weatherford was last with the Rams in July of 2023 before he was let go due to a failed physical. Now healthy, the 25-year-old appears to be working to find an opportunity to get back into the league.

Weatherford is healthy and competing for a Week 1 roster spot with the Bears this offseason, Gene Chamberlain of SI.com reports.
Weatherford appeared in 14 games for Chicago in 2022, playing primarily on special teams. He was sidelined for Weeks 17 and 18 due to an illness, but he's healthy this offseason and will likely have to prove himself on special teams again to land a spot on Chicago's initial 53-man roster.
