Wright was waived by the Dolphins on Saturday.
The 23-year-old signed a futures deal at the end of the regular season but was likely let go to create roster space ahead of the NFL draft. Wright went undrafted out of Purdue last year and didn't see the field in 2019.

Wright saw time on the Steelers' practice squad this season but never made it to an active roster. The speedster out of Purdue will continue to chase his NFL dream with Miami in 2020.

Wright was signed to the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Wright possesses 4.44 speed and was a member of his alma mater's track team at Purdue, but the 5-foot-11 receiver went undrafted in April before eventually being waived by the Seahawks prior to the start of the regular season.
