Taylor was not listed on the Injury report Wednesday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports. Taylor'slower-body injury was suspected to be minor and this confirms it as he is already back to full strength. After not playing in a single game for the Giants due to opting out, the 24-year-old cornerback needs all the time he can get to prove himself and earn a depth role in Philadelphia's secondary.

  • Shakial Taylor: Let go Friday

The Giants waived Taylor on Friday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. Taylor never made a game appearance with the Giants since he opted out of the 2020 season. The cornerback will now aim to compete for a reserve role with another team.

  • Colts' Shakial Taylor: Ruled out Thursday

Taylor (ankle) will miss Thursday's game against the Texans. Taylor missed practice all week, so his status ahead of Thursday's divisional matchup should not come as a surprise. The 22-year-old cornerback has only seen action in five games this season, meaning Taylor's absence won't have much of an impact on fantasy fortunes.
