McNamee will hang around Green Bay after going unclaimed on waivers. The kicker will operate as an emergency depth option behind starter Brandon McManus as the 2025 campaign gets underway.

Mark McNamee: Dropped by Green Bay
McNamee was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official website reports.
McNamee signed with Green Bay in July as a member of the NFL's International Player Pathway program, going 1-for-2 on field-goal tries and 2-for-3 on PATs. The kicker will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, he could stick around with the Packers' practice squad.
