  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Logs full practice Thursday

Kolar (nose) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Kolar was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a nose injury, but the fourth-year tight end practiced without restriction Thursday and is on track to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Steelers. Kolar has caught 10 passes (on 15 targets) for 142 yards and two scores across 16 regular-season games while serving as the Ravens' TE3 behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Limited by nose injury

Kolar (nose) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Kolar may have picked up the injury during the Ravens' Week 17 win over the Packers, when he played 57 snaps (37 on offense, 20 on special teams) while failing to haul in his lone target from Tyler Huntley late in the third quarter. Kolar will have two more chances to log a full practice ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale against the Steelers.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Goes without target in Week 15

Kolar went without a target while playing 21 of the Ravens' 41 snaps on offense in Sunday's 24-0 win over the Bengals. Though his 51 percent offensive snap share was his highest rate since Week 3, Kolar went without a target for just the third time in 12 games on a day in which quarterback Lamar Jackson attempted just 12 passes. Kolar will have a chance at seeing more pass-game involvement on the occasions that the Ravens aren't sitting on big leads, but he'll still be third in line for targets at tight end behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Tallies first TD of 2025

Kolar notched a 10-yard touchdown reception on his lone target in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Bears. Though he finished third among Baltimore tight ends in playing time by taking the field for 25 of the Ravens' 62 offensive snaps (40 percent), Kolar ended up generating a better fantasy line than Mark Andrews (3-34-0) and Isaiah Likely (2-8-0) by virtue of finding paydirt for the first time this season. The Ravens should continue to make frequent use of all three of their tight ends throughout the campaign, but expect Andrews and Likely to outproduce Kolar as pass catchers more often than not.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Nabs 10-yard reception in loss

Kolar hauled in his lone target for a 10-yard reception in Sunday's 44-10 loss to the Texans. After logging at least half the snaps in each of the Ravens' first three games, Kolar has, unsurprisingly, seen his playing time trend down the past two weeks while Baltimore has welcomed fellow tight end Isaiah Likely back from a foot injury. Andrews and Likely remain the Ravens' top two options at the position, but Kolar still logged 20 of the team's 43 snaps on offense in Week 5 while Baltimore frequently deployed Likely out of the slot.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: No targets vs. Bills

Kolar was not targeted over 30 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Bills. With Isaiah Likely out, Kolar moved into a bigger role in the Baltimore offense as he was out there for 60 percent of the snaps. He played just seven fewer snaps than Mark Andrews. However, the healthy snap count did not translate into targets. Kolar helped out as a blocker, and Baltimore only threw it 19 times in total. The fourth-year tight end should have healthy snap counts while Likely is sidelined, but Sunday's outing shows that snaps won't necessarily translate into production.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Gets more opportunities in 2024

Kolar (arm) tallied nine catches on 11 targets for 131 yards and a touchdown while rushing once for two yards over 13 regular-season games in 2024. Though he played in two fewer games than the year prior, Kolar logged 14 more offensive snaps and set career-high marks in catches and receiving yards. He was also a core special-teamer for Baltimore. Kolar spent four weeks on injured reserve due to a broken forearm and suffered another arm injury during the Ravens' divisional-round loss to Buffalo, though there's no indication that the latter injury will impact his availability for the start of next season. Kolar should be back with Baltimore in 2025 for the final season of his rookie contract, but it's hard to see his role growing significantly with both Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely slated to return as well.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Questionable to return Sunday

Kolar (arm) is questionable to return to Sunday's AFC divisional-round game against the Bills, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Kolar suffered an arm injury in the second half, forcing him to exit the game. His absence doesn't carry much of an impact on offense, and Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely continue to operate as the team's top options at tight end.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Good to go Saturday

Kolar (forearm) is active for Saturday's Week 18 matchup against Cleveland. If he gets into the game, as expected, Kolar will see his first action since he broke his forearm Week 12 against the Chargers. Prior to the injury, the third-year pro had been working as a special teams stalwart while also serving as Baltimore's third tight end behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Activated from injured reserve

The Ravens activated Kolar (forearm) from injured reserve Friday. Kolar remains listed as questionable, but this move would suggest he's going to play in Saturday's game against the Browns, as the Ravens are trying to hold onto the AFC North title. Kolar is recovering from a broken forearm suffered in practice ahead of Week 13, and he's missed the required four contests while on injured reserve.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Questionable for Week 18

Kolar (forearm) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Cleveland. Kolar was designated to return from injured reserve Tuesday, and he's been a full participant in practice all week. If he's activated off IR ahead of Saturday's regular-season finale, he would serve as the Ravens' No. 3 tight end behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. Prior to his forearm injury, Kolar registered nine catches (on 11 targets) for 131 yards and one touchdown across 12 games.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Designated to return

Kolar (forearm) was designated to return from injured reserve Monday. Kolar has missed the Ravens' last four games after fracturing his forearm in the Week 12 win over the Chargers. However, he was designated to return Monday and now has 21 days to be added to Baltimore's active roster before reverting to IR. Kolar's practice participation throughout the week will likely offer the best insight into whether he will be able to return for the Ravens' Week 18 matchup against the Browns.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Goes on IR due to broken forearm

The Ravens placed Kolar (forearm) on injured reserve Saturday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Kolar broke his forearm in the fourth quarter of the Ravens' 30-23 win over the Chargers this past Monday. The third-year tight end will be forced to miss at least the next four regular-season games, making Week 18 against the Browns on Sunday, Jan. 5 the earliest he can return.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: No targets in win

Kolar was not targeted on 22 snaps Sunday against the Commanders. Kolar was unable to follow up his impressive Week 5 outing as he did not see a single target in the win. He played a similar number of snaps that he did against the Bengals and has a 27 percent snap share on the year. Baltimore uses tight-end personnel as much as any team in the league, but Kolar is still firmly behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely in the pecking order.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Limited practice Wednesday

Kolar was a limited participant in practice Wednesday due to a toe injury. Kolar has emerged from this past Sunday's 41-38 overtime win over the Bengals nursing an injury. He played 21 snaps on offense and 27 on special teams in the victory, finishing the day with three catches for 64 yards and a touchdown on four targets while adding a two-yard carry. He still has two opportunities to return to full practice participation and avoid taking a designation into Sunday's game against the Commanders. Even if he's cleared in advance of Sunday, Kolar still looks to be third on the depth chart at tight end behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Comes up big against Cincy

Kolar had three catches for 64 yards and a touchdown on four targets Sunday against the Bengals. Kolar came up just shy of having two touchdowns, but he was chased down from behind at the tail end of a 55-yard gain to set up an eventual score for the Ravens. The third-year tight end did manage to cash in his first touchdown of the season and has shown a surprising knack for making big plays considering he burned the Cowboys for a 30-yard reception Week 3. Baltimore continues to roll with a deep rotation at tight end with Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews still leading the way in terms of snaps, but Kolar is earning his keep when he's on the field. The Ravens host the Commanders in Week 6.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: No targets Sunday

Kolar was not targeted on 18 snaps against the Bills on Sunday night. Kolar continues to have a role as a blocker as he's played at least a third of Baltimore's snaps on offense in back-to-back weeks, but his usage in the passing game is minimal. Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews are struggling to draw targets, so it stands to reason that Kolar also isn't getting much work in that facet of the game. The Ravens face the Bengals on the road Week 5.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Playing time ticks up Sunday

Kolar played a season-high 26 snaps Sunday against the Cowboys and recorded a 30-yard reception. Baltimore went heavy on the run game Sunday in Dallas with 45 of 63 plays coming on the ground. That game script makes sense to bump up Kolar's usage as he's the best blocker in the tight end room while Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely are more renowned for their pass-catching chops. Kolar made the most of his one target by turning it into a 30-yard gain but his skill set won't scale up into a significant pass-catching role without an injury elsewhere in the tight end room. Baltimore hosts Buffalo on Sunday Night Football in Week 4.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Secures two catches Saturday

Kolar had two receptions on three targets for 14 yards in Saturday's preseason tilt against the Packers. Kolar got some run due to Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely sitting out Baltimore's exhibition finale. The 25-year-old Kolar doesn't project to be a fantasy factor this season with the kind of receiving talent ahead of him on the Ravens' tight end depth chart.

  • Ravens' Charlie Kolar: No targets against Chargers

Kolar wasn't targeted on 19 snaps in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Chargers. There was some debate in fantasy circles as to whether it would be Kolar or Isaiah Likely as the next man up following Mark Andrews' ankle injury. Likely appears to be emphatically ahead of Kolar as it stands, as the former played 73 percent of the snaps and recorded four receptions for 40 yards on six targets Sunday. Kolar has some utility as a blocker, and his collegiate production points to him having useful pass-catching ability, but Likely is clearly a hurdle to him getting on the mainstream fantasy radar. The Ravens will be on a bye before their Week 14 matchup with the Rams.
