11/29/15SMike AdamsANKLEDOUBTFULAdams (ankle) is doubtful for Sunday's matchup with the Buccaneers, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.

Adams may miss his second game in a row due to a lingering ankle injury. The 34-year-old did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, so it seems unlikely he'll make it on the field Sunday. If he is out, look for Colt Anderson to pick up the start in his place.

    (Updated 11/27/2015)
11/29/15CBVontae DavisHAMSTRINGPROBABLEDavis suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday's game against the Falcons and is doubtful to return.

The severity of the injury is still unknown, but it's not a promising sign for Colts' fans that Davis is likely done for the day. With Davis on the sidelines look for Darius Butler to finish out the game at corner.

11/29/15WRPhillip DorsettANKLEOUTDorsett (ankle) did not practice Friday and is listed as out this week against Tampa Bay.

Dorsett has increased his activity, but hasn't been able to return to a full practice. It's possible he could return next week against Pittsburgh.

11/29/15LBJerrell FreemanRIBSPROBABLEFreeman (ribs) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Bucs.

Freeman practiced fully Friday and is thus on track to suit up Sunday. He's recorded a fantasy-friendly 74 tackles and a sack in nine games to date.

    (Updated 11/27/2015)
11/29/15RBFrank GoreANKLEPROBABLEGore (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.

After missing Wednesday's practice, Gore returned as a full participant both Thursday and Friday. While seemingly not in any danger of missing the game, he will have to contend with a Tampa Bay run defense that has played at an elite level since a Week 6 bye. Of course, with Matt Hasselbeck under center, the Colts may still try to establish their running game from the get-go.

11/29/15QBAndrew LuckABDOMEN, KIDNEYOUTLuck (abdomen/kidney) expects he'll be able to play again this season. "Yeah, very confident. Very confident I'll be able to return," he told TV 4 WTTV in Indianapolis.

Luck made the comments in his first media availability since suffering a lacerated kidney and torn abdominal muscle Nov. 8. Luck says he's picked up his activity, but gave no timetable for when he may be able to return to practice. While Luck's comments are encouraging, there's always a risk he could be shut down if the Colts fall out of the playoff race.

11/29/15CBD'Joun SmithKNEEPROBABLESmith has been activated from the Colts' injured reserve/designated to return list.

Smith returns to the Colts' active roster after a knee injury ruled him out for the first half of this season. The rookie third-rounder is expected to add solid depth to the Colts' secondary, potentially vying for their nickel role in the coming weeks.

11/29/15LBErik WaldenFOOTQUESTIONABLEColts linebacker Erik Walden and his female companion were attacked, according to the Indy Star.
11/26/15WRAndre JohnsonNot injury relatedQUESTIONABLEJohnson had one reception for 13 yards and was targeted just twice in Sunday's win at Atlanta.

Johnson had previously fared better with Matt Hasselbeck at quarterback as he had two touchdowns and nine targets in two games. However, it looks like the change in quarterback won't change Johnson's fortunes as he continues to disappear most games. He's had six games with three or fewer receptions.

11/26/15LBRobert MathisNot injury relatedQUESTIONABLEMathis had two sacks, three total tackles and a tackle for a loss in Monday's loss at Carolina.

Mathis is finally back to full speed after last season's Achilles injury. He could be a strong source of sacks in the second half of the season.

11/29/15WRDanny AmendolaKNEEQUESTIONABLEAmendola (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, the Boston Herald reports.

Though Amendola practiced in a limited fashion both Thursday and Friday, his Week 12 status may come down to a game-day call, which is a bit tricky for his fantasy owners, considering that the Patriots kick off at 8:30 ET on Sunday.

    (Updated 11/27/2015)
11/29/15DTAlan BranchELBOWPROBABLEThe Patriots have reportedly re-signed defensive tackle Alan Branch to a two-year deal worth a maximum of $6.6 million, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.
    11/29/15TMarcus CannonTOEPROBABLE
11/29/15CBJustin ColemanHANDOUTThree injured players have been placed on the inactive list by the Patriots for their season opener Thursday night against Pittsburgh. They are running back Travaris Cadet (hamstring), defensive lineman Trey Flowers (knee) and safety Tavon Wilson (quad).
11/29/15LBJamie CollinsILLNESSDOUBTFULCollins (illness) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos, the Boston Herald reports.

On a positive note, Collins returned to to a limited practice Friday, but at this point it looks likely that the linebacker's return to game action won't occur until Week 13's tilt against the Eagles.

    (Updated 11/27/2015)
11/29/15WRJulian EdelmanFOOTOUTEdelman underwent foot surgery Monday on the Jones fracture he suffered Sunday against the Giants, and he could return in 6-to-8 weeks, according to Albert Breer of NFL Network.

Breer notes that the recovery timeframe is a rough one, so while it could theoretically allow Edelman to return during the postseason, it's certainly no guarantee. Danny Amendola is expected to get an increase in offensive snaps with Edelman sidelined, while Brandon LaFell, Aaron Dobson and Rob Gronkowski could all see more targets as well.

11/29/15DEChandler JonesABDOMENPROBABLEJones (abdomen) was on the field for 63 of the Patriots' 71 defensive snaps in Monday's win over the Bills, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

Per the report, Jones had a chance to rack up a sack Monday, but QB Tyrod Taylor slipped out of the defensive end's grasp, with Jones thus limited to one tackle in the game. Through 10 games overall, Jones has notched 31 tackles and 10.5 sacks.

    (Updated 11/24/2015)
11/29/15WRKeshawn MartinHAMSTRINGQUESTIONABLEMartin (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, the Boston Herald reports.

As is fellow wideout Danny Amendola, though with Martin not having suited up since Week 6 and the Patriots not kicking off until 8:30 ET on Sunday, Martin looks like a risky roll in Week 12. Down the road though, when his health and role in the team's offense are re-established, Martin could carve out some deep league utility in the absence of Julian Edelman.

    (Updated 11/27/2015)
11/29/15TEMichael WilliamsKNEEQUESTIONABLEThe Patriots have acquired tackle Michael Williams from the Lions in exchange for a future draft pick, according to NFL.com.
11/26/15WRAaron DobsonAnkleQUESTIONABLEThe Patriots have placed Dobson (ankle) on IR, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

With Dobson headed to IR, Julian Edelman out indefinitely, plus Danny Amendola and Keshawn Martin also banged up, we'd expect the Patriots to make a move to add some wideout depth in the coming days.

    (Updated 11/26/2015)
11/26/15WRMatthew SlaterNot injury relatedQUESTIONABLESlater (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Though Slater's role in the team's offense remains limited, he continues to be a key cog on special teams for the Patriots.
