GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) Marvin Smith scored 15 points and UNC Greensboro rolled to a 96-61 win over Division-II Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday.

James Dickey came off the bench to score 12 points and grab seven rebounds for the Spartans (8-3), who have won seven of their last eight games heading into Southern Conference play.

The Spartans shot 59 percent (37 of 62), hitting 13 of 27 3-pointers. They had 28 assists, with Diante Baldwin getting seven, RJ White six and reserve Demetrius Troy getting five to go with five rebounds and 10 points.

UNCG took control early, making half of its 20 3-pointers in the first half, shooting 61 percent and racing to a 56-34 lead. Barely five minutes into the second half the lad had ballooned to 45.

Darius Sharpe had 23 points, hitting five 3-pointers, for Southern Wesleyan, which counted the game as an exhibition.
