Williams registered 13 points (5-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 26 minutes of Monday's 114-101 preseason loss to the Mavericks.
Williams, who is looking to bounce back from a disappointing rookie season, is shooting 38.5 percent from the field through three exhibitions. His counting stats have been decent, however, with the forward averaging 9.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.7 blocks, 0.7 steals and 0.7 three-pointers in 21.7 minutes per contest.
Williams supplied 26 points (9-17 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 3-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals across 32 minutes in Friday's 105-92 Summer League loss to the Bulls.
Williams capped off an already promising Summer League showing with a game-high 26 points Friday. Williams was one of four players for his squad to score in double figures. The Colorado product has now scored 22 or more points in his last two games during the Las Vegas Summer League.
Williams recorded 22 points (8-17 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and three steals during Sunday's 103-93 Summer League loss to the Warriors.
Williams put together an impressive all-around performance Sunday, leading the team in scoring, rebounds, steals and tying for a team-high in assists. One area Williams will look to improve as Summer League continues is from beyond the arc, where he has shot just 23.5 percent over his last two contests.
Williams produced 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 25 minutes in Saturday's 93-89 Summer League win over the 76ers.
Williams is coming off an inconsistent rookie year, during which he averaged 4.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists while shooting 32.3 percent from the field. He missed the end of the campaign after testing positive for mononucleosis, but there were no reported restrictions ahead of Summer League. Minutes won't be much easier to come by in his second season, however, as the Jazz selected Ace Bailey with the No. 5 overall pick in the NBA Draft.
