The Blue Jays acquired Sharp and outfielder Jonatan Clase from the Mariners on Friday in exchange for right-hander Yimi Garcia, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Sharp has slashed .255/.339/.435 with six home runs over 44 games this season with Single-A Modesto. The 22-year-old is a long shot to make a meaningful contribution in the major leagues.
