Blue Jays' Ty Tice: DFA'd by Toronto

Tice was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Sunday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Tice gave up four runs on nine hits with six strikeouts and four walks over seven innings between his three stints in the majors this season, but he's now been removed from the 40-man roster. Carl Edwards had his contract selected from Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move.
