Braves' Spencer Strider: Grabbed by Atlanta

The Braves have selected Strider with the 126th overall pick in the 2020 first-year player draft.

Strider has started just four games since 2018 after undergoing Tommy John surgery and seeing play halted this year, but he still threw enough this spring to convince the Braves to take him in Round 4. Per MLB.com he can hit 95 mph with his fastball and also brings a curveball and changeup to the table.
