Ramos is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds due to a swollen right thumb, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The 24-year-old sat out last Sunday due to the thumb issue and returned to action following Monday's team off day, but he apparently hasn't fully shaken the injury. According to Rubin, Ramos is dealing with some significant swelling, and he's gone 2-for-14 with five strikeouts since rejoining the lineup. Mike Yastrzemski will shift to center field Sunday while Jerar Encarnacion starts in right.
