Gose (2-0) earned the win Friday against the Athletics, allowing zero runs while striking out two over one inning in relief.
Gose entered in the top of the ninth with Cleveland down by two, but earned the win after the Guardians picked up three runs to end the game. Although Gose looked good on Friday, Emmanuel Clase has a clear hold on the closer role in Cleveland.
