Mets' Josh Walker: Sent down to Triple-A

Walker was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse by the Mets on Friday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Walker yielded four unearned runs in three Grapefruit League frames before being optioned. The left-handed reliever got a cup of coffee with the Mets last season and should get another opportunity with them again in 2024.
