Grable, along with right-handed pitchers Jake Bird, Jack Cebert and Yovanny Cruz, was traded to the Nationals in return for infielder Luis Garcia on Sunday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
Grable has spent the entirety of the 2026 campaign with Double-A Somerset, producing a 2.79 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with 39 strikeouts over 29 innings in 26 appearances entering Sunday. The 24-year-old will likely report to Double-A Harrisburg upon his arrival to his new organization.
