Nationals' Max Scherzer: Tabbed as Thursday's starter

Scherzer (back) is expected to be activated to start Thursday's game against the Pirates, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.

His 64-pitch sim game Saturday was a success and Scherzer said he is ready to pitch in games. He can be deployed in weekly leagues with confidence.
