The Orioles signed Anderson on Friday, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
The club announced the signing of both Anderson and Griff O'Ferrall, who were teammates at Virginia and now will enter the Orioles' system together. Anderson is a switch hitter who will be developed as a catcher, but he could ultimately wind up at another position.
