Phillies' Ramon Rosso: Contract selected by Phillies

Rosso had his contract selected by Philadelphia on Wednesday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Rosso was designated for assignment by the Phillies in late May but will receive another opportunity in the majors. The right-hander delivered 1.1 scoreless frames in his lone big-league appearance this season, and he has a 4.50 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 26:18 K:BB across 28 innings at Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
