Pirates' Bryan Reynolds: On bereavement list

The Pirates placed Reynolds (back) on the bereavement list Thursday.

Reynolds was expected to return to action Friday against the Diamondbacks after being scratched from Wednesday's lineup due back spasms, but he'll instead step away from the team for the next few days to be with his family. The Pirates will add another player to the roster for Friday's game at Arizona.
