Pirates' Henry Davis: Out with oblique strain

Davis was placed on the 7-day injured list Tuesday with a strained right oblique, MLB Pipeline reports.

Davis last saw the field for High-A Greensboro on Sunday and will be sidelined for at least a week due to the oblique strain. The 2021 first overall pick started his professional career at the rookie-level Florida Complex League, but he quickly earned a promotion to High-A.
