Reed (shoulder) fired a scoreless sixth inning during which he recorded two strikeouts in Triple-A Durham's win over Gwinnett on Saturday and now has three consecutive scoreless appearances with the Bulls.
Reed was impressive over his 13 pitches, throwing eight for strikes in his third one-inning outing for the Bulls over a six-day period. The right-hander has recorded a 4:0 K:BB over the last pair of appearances as well, and he's certainly building up plenty of momentum heading into the offseason ahead of what should be a spring training without restrictions in 2022.
