Reed signed with the Rays as a non-roster invitee Tuesday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Reed pitched for the Rays last season but was limited to 9.2 innings due to thoracic outlet surgery. He recorded a 3.72 ERA in those frames, but his 7:6 K:BB wasn't particularly convincing.
