Reds' Mike Freeman: Outrighted to Triple-A

Freeman cleared waivers Tuesday and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Freeman was designated for assignment Sunday. With all 29 other teams passing during the waiver process -- unsurprising for a 34-year-old with a career .225/.306/.306 slash line -- Freeman will remain in the organization.
