The Rockies selected Davis with the No. 104 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
Davis added a couple ticks of velocity as a senior at Mississippi State, giving him a high-end combination of velocity and movement on his fastball. However, the expectation is that Davis will remain a reliever as he moves through the professional ranks.
