Rockies' Jeff Hoffman: Receives invitation to spring training

Hoffman received an invitation to spring training Thursday.

One of the top prospects in the Rockies organization after being acquired in the Troy Tulowitzki deal, Hoffman pitched well at the Double-A level. Although he shows promise, he'll likely head back to the minors after spring training to pitch more against upper-level hitters.
