Minor (shoulder) has not started a minor league rehab assignment, and there is still no timetable for his return to the big leagues, the Kansas City Star reports.
The 28-year-old has been getting little information from the Royals regarding their plans for him, while the ultimate goal of the organization appears to be having him healthy and ready to contribute in a greater capacity in 2017.
