Prager will return to Texas A&M after not agreeing to a deal with the Angels, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
It sounds like Prager had a clear idea of what he was willing to sign for and also wanted to go to a good situation for him, and the Angels did not check one or both of those boxes. As a red-shirt sophomore who underwent Tommy John surgery in October 2022, Prager has two more years of collegiate eligibility remaining, so he will still have some leverage this time next year.
