White Sox's Mike Wright: Designated for assignment

Wright was designated for assignment by the White Sox on Friday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Wright didn't do much to justify his roster spot in 13 relief appearances this season, struggling to a 5.50 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 11:11 K:BB in 18 innings of work. He'll exit the roster as Ryan Tepera (finger) returns from the injured list.
