Sale (4-1) earned the win against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over seven innings.

Sale surrendered a solo homer in the second inning but was otherwise dominant, throwing 73 of 101 pitches for strikes and logging six scoreless frames. Aside from a six-run clunker April 6, the veteran southpaw has yielded just three earned runs across four quality starts. He'll carry a 2.79 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 29:7 K:BB across 29 innings into a road matchup against the Nationals next week.

Wilson went 2-for-6 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the White Sox.

After going homer-less in the first 17 games of the season, Wilson has now gone deep in two of the last four contests after he took an Erick Fedde cutter over the wall in the second inning. Wilson hit just .196 across the first 12 games this season but is 12-for-25 (.480) over his last eight games. He has six multi-hit games in that span and is now slashing .256/.264/.360 with two homers, 10 RBI, nine runs scored, one stolen base and a 1:11 BB:K across 87 trips to the plate.

Reyes went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Atlanta.

Reyes started in left field and homered off Chris Sale in his first major-league at-bat, launching a 2-0 fastball into the right-field seats. The 25-year-old slashed .333/.345/.654 across 84 plate appearances at Triple-A Lehigh Valley and should draw most of his starts against lefties, a role previously held by the recently demoted Otto Kemp.

Kurtz went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and three walks in Saturday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the White Sox.

With the Athletics trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh, Kurtz took Jordan Leasure deep for a two-run shot to tie the game. It was just Kurtz's second homer of the season, and he's now driven in six runs over the last three contests. After batting .083 over the first seven games of the season, Kurtz has five multi-hit games over his last 13 contests and is now slashing .235/.429/.368 with two long balls, nine RBI, nine runs scored, two stolen bases and a 23:30 BB:K across 91 plate appearances.

Sanchez (2-2) took the loss against Atlanta on Saturday, allowing three unearned runs on eight hits and one walk with eight strikeouts over six innings.

Sanchez allowed all three runs in the third inning after a two-out error by Edmundo Sosa, with one scoring on an infield single and two on another softly hit single (69.1 mph). He was strong otherwise, throwing 59 of 93 pitches for strikes and generating a whopping 13 whiffs on his changeup alone. The southpaw has now yielded two earned runs or fewer in each of his five outings to open the season and owns a 1.59 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 39:8 K:BB across 28.1 innings. He's slated for a road matchup against the Cubs next week.

Severino didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the White Sox, allowing five runs on five hits and four walks with three strikeouts across 5.1 innings.

Severino;'s blow-up inning was the second, as he allowed a leadoff homer to Colson Montgomery before Andrew Benintendi capped the five-run frame with a three-run shot. Otherwise, Severino was effective Saturday, and the Athletics were able to erase the 5-0 deficit to get Severino off the hook. Severino's first three starts of the season came on the road, where he allowed eight runs over 13.1 innings. In two home starts against the Rangers and White Sox, the right-hander has surrendered nine runs across 11.1 innings. Severino owns a 6.20 ERA and 28:20 K:BB across 24.2 frames. He's in line to face the Rangers on the road in his next start.

Peterson will no longer start Sunday against the Cubs, but he could still pitch, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Peterson was originally scheduled to start Sunday, but Tobias Myers will instead get the nod. However, Mastracco implies that Peterson could still work in long relief to keep the Mets' rotation on schedule. Peterson has allowed 14 earned runs across his last 14.1 innings, spanning three starts, so the team could be seeking to get him back on track by slightly shifting his role.

Myers will start Sunday's game against the Cubs, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

David Peterson was originally set to start, but he's struggled mightily across his last three starts. Meanwhile, Myers has made six appearances this season, but Sunday will mark his first start. While Myers has worked as a starter for long stretches of his big-league career, he hasn't worked more than three innings or 39 pitches in an outing this season, so it's unclear how deep he may be able to pitch in Sunday's game.

Realmuto was removed from Saturday's game against Atlanta due to lower back tightness, Charlotte Varnes of The Athletic reports.

It's unclear when the injury occurred, but Rafael Marchan entered the game for Realmuto as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning. Realmuto dealt with a sore foot about one week ago, though the issues don't look to be related. The severity of Realmuto's current injury is unclear.

Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during the Orioles' 4-2 loss to the Guardians on Saturday.

Henderson cut the Orioles' deficit to 3-2 in the eighth inning, when he smashed a solo home run to right field off Hunter Gaddis. Henderson struck out in two of his other plate appearances and is up to 29 strikeouts over 99 plate appearances this season, which is tied for seventh most in the American League. He is slashing .213/.283/.506 with four steals (on five attempts), seven home runs and 15 RBI.
