Towns headed to the locker room in the latter stages of the fourth quarter during Saturday's 139-126 loss to the Bulls due to an apparent hamstring injury, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. He finished with 44 points (17-29 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 16 rebounds, five assists and one steal across 37 minutes.

Towns checked out of the contest with 1:34 remaining in the fourth quarter, when the outcome was well in hand. The Knicks didn't provide an official update on his status, so fantasy managers will need to keep close tabs on his status before New York's next game Monday versus the Magic. If Towns is forced to miss his third game of the season, Precious Achiuwa and Jericho Sims would likely be tasked with absorbing most of the vacated center minutes.
