Lamar Patterson: Waived by Kings

Patterson was waived by the Kings on Wednesday, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.

Patterson was with the Hawks last season, often moving back and forth between the D-League and the Hawks' roster. He was claimed off waivers by the Kings in July, but was unable to make enough of an impression on the coaching staff to earn a spot on the regular season roster. He'll look for an opportunity elsewhere, but if all else fails, Patterson is a candidate to return to the D-League for further development.
