Warriors' Gary Payton: Won't return Wednesday

Payton will not return to Wednesday's game against the Rockets due to a sprained left ankle, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Payton lasted only five minutes before rolling his ankle, so he'll end his evening with one rebound, one assist and one turnover. For now, Payton should be considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Pelicans.
