  • Raptors' Delon Wright: Thrives again off bench
    By RotoWire Staff

Wright finished with 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 22 minutes Sunday in the Raptors' 140-138 double-overtime victory over the Wizards. With Fred VanVleet (thigh) sitting out, Wright enjoyed an enhanced role on the second unit and reached double digits in the scoring column for the fourth time in six games. Though he's attracted some attention in deeper settings with his recent production, Wright probably won't warrant much appeal in shallower leagues unless VanVleet's injury proves to be a longer-term concern.

  • Wright recorded 12 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, three steals, and two assists in 23 minutes during Friday's 122-105 win over the Nets. Wright finished with a season high steal total. He has scored in double figures in three of the last five games, a feat he has accomplished only once prior this season. Unsurprisingly, the three double-digit scoring efforts during this recent stretch all took place on nights when Wright saw at least 20 minutes. Given the team's overwhelming depth, Wright's value isn't likely to extend beyond deep leagues.

  • Raptors' Delon Wright: Returning to bench
    By RotoWire Staff

Wright will come off the pine Saturday against the 76ers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. With Kyle Lowry (thigh) and Danny Green (knee) recovered from their injuries, Wright, along with Fred VanVleet, will head back to the bench. When in that role, Wright has averaged 5.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 16.5 minutes.

  • Raptors' Delon Wright: Starting Friday
    By RotoWire Staff

Wright will start Friday against the Cavaliers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. Due to an extensive injury report, Wright will enter the starting five for the second time this year. In his one prior start, he posted 15 points, eight boards, four assists and a steal in 38 minutes.

  • Raptors' Delon Wright: Productive in spot start
    By RotoWire Staff

Wright contributed 15 points (6-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal across 38 minutes in the Raptors' 95-86 loss to the Nuggets on Sunday. Wright drew the start at point guard with both Kyle Lowry (thigh) and Fred VanVleet (back) sidelined, and he parlayed the opportunity into a productive outing. The young veteran's minutes are typically capped in the low 20s at most in his bench role, but he's shown the ability to generate solid production in the past when given sufficient playing time. Wright would presumably draw another start Wednesday against the Pacers if his aforementioned pair of teammates remain on the shelf for that contest, but the two days off between games offers at least one of them a solid chance of recovering sufficiently.
